Kangshung Face base camp itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lhasa, Tibet

- Acclimatization day in Lhasa to adjust to the altitude
- Explore the city and visit prominent attractions like Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple
Day 2: Sightseeing in Lhasa
- Visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery
- Explore the Barkhor Street and experience Tibetan culture
Day 3: Lhasa to Shigatse
- Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet
- Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama
Day 4: Shigatse to Shegar
- Drive from Shigatse to Shegar, also known as New Tingri
- Enjoy the scenic views of the Himalayas en route
Day 5: Shegar to Kangshung Village
- Drive from Shegar to Kangshung Village, the starting point of the trek
- Set up camp and prepare for the trek
Day 6-13: Trek to Kangshung Face Base Camp
- Begin the trek towards Kangshung Face Base Camp
- Trek through picturesque valleys, cross rivers, and pass through high-altitude terrain
- Camp at various locations along the route, enjoying the stunning views of the Kangshung Face
Day 14-15: Acclimatization and Exploration
- Spend a couple of days at the base camp for acclimatization
- Explore the surrounding area, go for day hikes, and enjoy the serene environment
Day 16-17: Trek back to Kangshung Village
- Start the return journey from the base camp to Kangshung Village
- Enjoy the last moments in the wilderness before heading back
Day 18: Drive to Lhasa
- Drive back from Kangshung Village to Lhasa
- Relax and reflect on the incredible journey
Day 19-20: Lhasa
- Spend a couple of days in Lhasa for rest and exploration
- Visit any remaining attractions or engage in cultural experiences
Day 21: Departure
- Depart from Lhasa, Tibet
