Do you need a passport to go to Nepal?

Only the citizens of India doesn’t need passport to enter Nepal. If you are an Indian citizen them you can enter into Nepal using your any valid government card such as driving license, voters ID, ration card, or any other identity card issued by Embassy of India.

Any citizens other than the Indians will need to have a valid passport of six month to enter Nepal. People from all nationals shall have a valid passport with a valid visa as per their duration of the stay to enter Nepal. The visa can only be extended up to 120 days and an additional 30 days can be extended for a reasonable cause during a Nepalese calendar year.
