Hot Air Balloon in Pokhara

Flying over Pokhara in a hot air balloon had been on my bucket list, and Actual Adventure made it happen perfectly. The launch was calm, the flight was smooth, and the views were mind-blowing — Machhapuchhre, Phewa Lake, and the peaceful countryside all at once. Mr. Sushil Tiwari personally followed up after the flight to check on our satisfaction, which showed great attention to detail. The experience felt personal and not touristy. Our ground assistant, Rajesh Thapa, was also incredibly courteous and knowledgeable about the area. His enthusiasm made it even more exciting.  

I had one of the most magical experiences of my life with the Hot Air Balloon ride in Pokhara, organized by Actual Adventure. We lifted off just after sunrise, and the view of the Annapurna range glowing golden was something out of a dream. You get a full panoramic view — lakes, villages, and snowy peaks. I’d highly recommend this to anyone visiting Nepal. A big thanks to Mr. Sushil Tiwari, who managed the booking so professionally. Everything was handled smoothly — from pick-up to the balloon ride and even post-tour feedback. Our guide, Bikash Gurung, kept us informed and safe, explaining everything from the balloon mechanics to the landscape we were floating above. He even took great photos for us!

He helped calm my nerves and even offered historical insights about the mountains. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience Pokhara.
