Kathmandu is the capital city of the country situated at the altitude of 4423feet from the sea level. The valley is surrounded by green hills which are further surrounded by snow capped Himalayas in the north. Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur are the major towns of the valley. all three places are culturally, historically and artistically are very important. Archeologist say the architectural history of the valley have begun with Lichhavi and Malla Kings. Now these ancient monuments, temples and courtyards are the center of attraction among the visitors. Beside these temples and monuments the cultural diversity of the valley also makes this place a interesting one. It is the base camp of all visitors and a ideal place to explore the history and culture of this Himalayan country.

After having breakfast we will drive to Bhaktapur which is also called the medieval city of devotees. After exploring Bhaktapur we will drive to Pashupatinath which is the holiest temple of the country and is the situated in the bank of Bagmati River. Near the temple in the bank of Bagmati river there is a place used as the place of cremation for the deceased in Nepal.
Today we will continue our journey. We will start by visiting Kathmandu Durbar square and if you are lucky you will get the glimpse of Living Goddess Kumari. From here we will drive to Patan which is located in the south western part of the valley and is for its finest tradition of arts and crafts. After a short rest we will visit Swayambhunath temple which is also listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple dates back to 2500years and is situated in the hilltop offering the astonishing view of Kathmandu. In the late afternoon you can enjoy family shopping. The main highlight of the day is an evening Nepal culture dance with Nepalese Dinner.
