Pharping, Champadevi & Surroundings Hills Hike With Meditation

Nepal Vegetarian Association (NVA) regularly organises hiking in and around Kathmandu valley to promote vegetarian lifestyle (You DON'T necessarily have to be a vegetarian to participate in this hike) as well as to enable everyone to escape at least for a day from the dust and smokes of the valley and reenergize yourself. With our regular hike, we also want to inspire people to lead cruelty-free lifestyle and get even more close to Nature. On 21st January 2017, we are organising a special charity hike to Champadevi Hill via Pharping as a fundraising event for Asia Pacific Veg Congress – 2017 to be held in Kathmandu. EVENT DETAILS: Event : Pharping-Champadevi Hill-Taudaha Hike With Meditation Date : January 21, 2017 ( ८ , माघ २०७३ शनिवार ) Meeting point : Bhrikuti Mandap Ground (Next to Nepal Tourism Board) Meeting time : 7:00 to 7:15 AM Departure : 7:15 (Sharp. Sharp means Sharp!) Note: • Nepal Vegetarian Association is a not-for-profit organisation and all the funds generated from this event will utilise to organise the Asia-Pacific Veg Congress-2017 to be held in Kathmandu. • You don’t necessarily have to be a Vegetarian to participate in this Hike. We encourage you to bring home made vegetarian foods for this day. Consumption of junk food is highly discouraged. Our Objectives: *NVA is a not-for-profit organisation concerned about support for vegetarian food consumption. *With the objectives to divulge and develop activities that help people find the significance of vegetarian way of life, emphasising the fact of morals, benefactions and ethics which could lead people to find the importance of sufficiency economy, care for the environment, and support people to understand the healthy way of living by consuming vegetarian food. For we strongly believe that these activities would create a long-lasting peace, love and compassion among humans and all living creatures. *NVA's objectives do not concern about politics and any specific religions as well as take no part in any profit-making activities. Our committee members are all volunteers and we honourably invite anyone to join and help the association to achieve the objectives.
