Yoga helps to heal your tiredness of the journey. Our Everest Yoga Trek starts with the breathtaking flight to Lukla which offers mind-blowing views of the Khumbu region. On our trial we will pass through several Sherpa villages and also the financial hub of Khumbu region Namche Bazaar. We will have yoga and meditation practices early in the morning every day before the beginning of the journey. Imagine yourself meditating at the heart of Himalayas in the lap of the earth’s highest point and fill your soul with positive vibes.
Day 01: Kathmandu
Arrival
After you arrive to
Kathmandu Airport our representative will be there waiting to receive you
displaying your name card. They will take you to the hotel in our private car.
We will also offer you a tour to our office and have short trip discussion.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu
Today we will have a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu
early in the morning. The flight offers us with incredible views of the
mountains along with the landscape of Khumbu region. After reaching to Lukla we
will have our breakfast and meet our rest of the team members. Our overnight
stay will be in Lukla.
Day 03: Yoga and meditation; trek to Phakding
Our day starts with early yoga and meditation session. After
doing some yoga practices for sometimes we will have our breakfast and will be
moving towards Phakding. We will be following a downhill trial on our way we
will pass through beautiful forests and several Sherpa villages via the route
of Dudh Koshi River we will reach to Phakding. Overnight stay on Phakding.
Day 04: Yoga and Meditation; Phakding to Namche Bazaar
We will have yoga and meditation early in the morning at the
lodge and will start our trek after having breakfast. Today we will be trekking
to the biggest town of Khumbu region. On our way we will cross several
suspension bridges over Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi River and pass by Sagarmatha
National Park. We will see varities of flora and Fauna during our trial. Our
overnight stay will be at Namche Bazaar.
Day 05: Yoga and Meditation; Acclimatization day at Namche.
After doing our scheduled yoga and meditation practices today
we will be spending full day at Namche Bazaar roaming around the town, visiting
museum or hiking up to the Everest View Hotel which is one of the top hotel of
the world situated at highest altitude. It offers mesmerizing sunrise view of
Everest and other mountains. Moreover, the market itself is a wonderful place
to spend the day. Spending a day will help us to avoid altitude sickness. Our overnight stay will be in Namche.
Day 06: Yoga and Meditation; Trek to Tengboche.
After doing yoga and meditation we will have our breakfast
at hotel and we will be trekking towards Tengboche. We will pass through lush
of green forests blanketed with rhododendron trees. The trial to Tengboche
offers remarkable views of mountains like Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and many
others. Upon reaching to Tengboche we will visit the largest monastery of
Khumbu region Tengboche monastery. The monastery offers us with great
sceneries. Our overnight stay will be at Tengboche.
Day 07: Yoga and Meditation; Tengboche to Dingboche.
After Yoga and Meditation we will have our breakfast and
will trek to Dingboche. The trial today offers remarkable views along the way. It
is an easy trial but a dusty path. We will
pass through beautiful forests and villages along our way. We will also get to see the local animals
grazing in the fields. Our overnight stay will be in Dingboche.
Day 08: Yoga and Meditation; Dingboche Acclimatization
After starting our day with yoga and meditation we will have
our breakfast. Today we will spend a full day in Dingboche for acclimatization
purpose. We will walk around the Dingboche or hike upto Chukkung valley which
offers great views. Our overnight stay will be at Dingboche.
Day 09: Yoga and
Meditation; Dingboche to Lobuche
After completing today’s yoga and meditation we will be
moving towards Lobuche. On our way we
will see memorials established in the memory of the Everest climbers who passed
away during their expedition. We will see remarkable views during our journey.
Our overnight stay will be at Lobuche.
Day 10: Yoga and Meditation; Lobuche to Gorakshep , visit
Everest Base Camp.
We will follow the same routine before starting our trek.
Today we will be trekking to the Base Camp of the highest summit. After leaving
Lobuche we will follow narrow trial and move towards Gorakshep walking into
thin air we will trek to the Everest Base Camp enjoy the views, take some
pictures and return back to Gorakshep for the night.
Day11: Yoga and Meditation; Gorakshep to Kalapatthar to
Pheriche.
After doing yoga and meditation we will climb up to
Kalapatthar for the sunrise view. Kalapatthar is a black rock situated at an
altitude of 5545m which is known as the best view point on earth. The summit of
the Everest is hidden from the base camp so people usually climb here for the
best view of Everest. After spending some time there we will trek down to
Pheriche. Our overnight stay will be in Pheriche.
Day 12: Yoga and Meditation; Pheriche to Kyanjuma
After completing our yoga and meditation we will descent to
Kyanjuma from Pheriche. On the way we will pass several Sherpa villages. We
will follow the route via Tengboche and reach to Kyanjuma. Our overnight stay
will be in Kyanjuma.
Day 13: Yoga and Meditation; Kyanjuma to Lukla
Starting the day with Yoga and meditation we will have our
breakfast and will be trekking to Lukla. There will mostly be downhill trial.
On the way we will bid a goodbye to several villages and the people of the
area. We will have our overnight stay in Lukla.
Day 14: Lukla to Kathmandu/ final departure.
Our trip ends today. We will take an early morning flight to
Kathmandu. Our representatives will take you to the hotel and you will take
rest for some time. After providing you farewell dinner our representatives
will drop you to the airport for your final departure from Nepal.
Stay Safe
- Altitude Sickness: The main and common risk while trekking above about 2500m is Altitude sickness. Altitude sickness is caused by acute exposure to low partial pressure of oxygen at high altitude. The available amount of oxygen to sustain mental and physical alertness decreases with altitude. Available oxygen drops as the air density itself, the number of molecules (of both oxygen and nitrogen) per given volume, drops as altitude increases. So don’t ignore, if you have any symptoms then descending to a lower altitude is the only option.
- Water: Have some means to purify water, iodine or a fine ceramic filter are the best options. The streams should be considered polluted and whilst bottled water is often available, the disposal of plastic bottles is a problem.
