Everest Base camp trek And Chitwan Tour - 21 Days

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) you can pick up your luggage and see for the representative of Actual Adventure after the completion of your immigration process. Then Our Actual Adventure representative will welcome you in traditional way at the arrival gate. You will be taken to the exact hotel as you plan. You can meet trekking crew at Actual Adventure head office after check in your hotel or you can visit Kathmandu valley. At evening, you can enjoy a good traditional welcome Dinner (D) in a traditional restaurant, organized by Actual Adventure. As this will be your first day in Nepal, We will never miss the opportunity to make you enjoyed and make you feel good. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

 Flight Duration: 35 Minutes.

Trek Duration: 3 hours.

Early in the morning after having breakfast or with packed breakfast we will drive to airport and board a flight to Lukla. After landing in Lukla we will start a downhill walk and make our way through Chauri kharka village and we further descend to Ghat (2530m). Lukla is one of the most dangerous airstrips of the world.  From here you will trek to Phakding. Following the bank of Dudh Koshi River we finally arrive to Phakding for overnight stay.

Following the banks of Dudh Koshi River the trail takes us to Tok Tok. From here one can view the excellent vista of Thamserku peak. Further continuing the trail climbs to Monjoo(2840m) and then enters to Sagarmatha National Park. Walking some distance uphill you will arrive to Jhorsalle(2830m) and after this we will cross a bridge and witnessing the magical panorama of Everest and Nuptse we will ultimately arrive to Namche Bazaar.

After having breakfast we will do some sightseeing around Namche and then hike to Everest View Hotel for the outstanding view of Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Kangtega, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaru, Khongde and Khumbi yu La. later we will make our way to Khumjung valley where you can see Hillary school, ancient monastery with Yeti skull and Khunde hospital. After this we will retrace our path back to Namche bazaar for overnight stay.

After having breakfast we will continue the trek through the forest to Kenjoma where the trail joins from Khumjung. After passing the village of Sanasa the trail descends to Phunki Tenga(3250m). Then again the trail climbs steeply through the forest to Tenboche monastery. From here we will witness the stimulating Himalayan panorama of Kwangde, Tawachee, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kantega and Thamserku.

Leaving Tengboche behind us we will descend through the forest, cross Imja Khola and make a steadily uphill climb to the village of Pangboche. The village offers the extraordinary view of Ama Dablam along with the hodgepodge of many other peaks. A further two hours of walk from here takes us to Pheriche and further to Dingboche.

Due to the gaining altitude it is necessary for us to get acclimatized with the ongoing environmental circumstances. Dingboche is one of the best stop for acclimatization. Today you will hike to Nangkarsthang peak and roam around the last Sherpa village of Everest Region. 

From Pheriche the trail gradually goes uphill to Duglha offering stunning view of Tawachee and Cholatse. From Duglha the trail goes towards Khumbu glacier for an hour and then turns to the village of Lobuche. Stay overnight in camp.

After having breakfast the trail gradually goes uphill through the side of Khumbu glacier to Gorakshep. The path to Gorakshep is rocky and windy but offers the spectacular view of Mt Pumori and Everest Base Camp. Following the Khumbu glacier the trek continues. The path here can be confusing, so it is better to follow the Sherpa. Each year the trail changes due to the movement of glaciers. The walk is quite tiring as it goes through rocky dunes, moraine and streams till you reach the Base Camp. Due to high altitude and thin air you too may face some breathing problem. After having a grand time here we will retrace our path back to Gorakshep for overnight stay.

Early in the morning we will hike to Kalapathar to witness a 360degree panorama of regal mountain peaks. This rocky peak with the altitude of 5545m gives the joy and sense of self-satisfaction which is beyond imagination. From here the Everest looks amazing and the panoramic view of Khumbu glacier seen in the south sweeps you up. After having our breakfast in Gorakshep we will trek down to Dhugla and then to the valley floor of Dingboche. Stay overnight in hotel.

Leaving Dingboche behind us the trail drop down following Dudh Koshi River through the birch and rhododendron forest we will ultimately takes us to Namche for overnight stay. The road follows the same route back to Namche.

Following the Dudh Koshi River we will retrace our path back to Lukla. This is the last day of our epic trek. Stay overnight in hotel.

Early in the morning we will catch a scenic flight back to Kathmandu over the Himalayas. After having lunch we will have plenty of time for sightseeing and shopping.

Since you have just arrived from a long trek and you might need some rest. So, we have included a rest day in Kathmandu today. If you want to explore the city on your own you can. You can visit the nearest markets and explore the streets on Kathmandu city. Overnight in Kathmandu. 

Kathmandu holds the historical and spiritual place so today we can start our tour after breakfast, from the place which are considered as World Heritage sites; Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantapur) where you can see Kumari temple, Museum, Kaal vairab (the god of distruction), Taleju Vawani (the goddess temple once opened in the 9th day of  great festival Dashain) , Pasupatinath ( the biggest holy temple of Hindus), Swayambunath (the famous monkey temple), Boudhanath (the large Stupas in the world). Then we will move towards Bhaktapur (Bhadgaoun) where you can see other durbar square, traditional houses, traditional Newari Museum. After that you will be taken to Latitpur where you can see next durbar square hold Nepalese history. After compleating sightseeing we will return back to Kathmandu. You will have your night stay in Kathmandu.

After having breakfast we will start our drive Chitwan from Kathmandu. The drive is about 6-7 hrs. The drive offers spectacular views of the rivers, hills, forests and mountains of Nepal. If you don’t want to drive then you can also take a flight to Chitwan which takes about 20 minutes. Overnight in Hotel

The 17-18-19 Day of this package you will be staying in Chitwan. You will have a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village, Here you will get chance to learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. After that you will visit the National Park Visitor's centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife & Sun set view from the bank of Rapti River. On the next day you will have jeep safari tour in Chitwan National Park where you can get to see numbers of birds and wild animals including one horned rhino. You will also get chance to enjoy canoe ride in the Rapti River. Chitwan National Park is the best destination to explore the wildlife of Nepal in its natural habitat. You will also visit Elephant Breeding centre and get a chance to see elephant bath.   Overnight at Chitwan. 

Today you will drive back to Kathmandu via the same route. If you don’t want you can also take a flight back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu.
