of this trek include superb Himalayan vista, vast land topography, visit to
lower Dolpo and extremely surreal Phoksundo Lake.
The Dolpo region of Nepal is known for its adrenaline
pumping high passes, rare flora and fauna and serene hamlets inhibited by
traditional Tibetan people. The area is surrounded by Dhaulagiri and Tibet from
south and north. Opened to trekkers since 1991, it is often referred as a fine
blend of natural beauty and cultural diversity. The trek goes through the
maximum elevation of 4530m to 5,115m and is arduous trek to complete.
The north west of Nepal is guarded by a group of Himalayan
peaks known as Kanjirowa Himal. Despite of its natural beauty, the area is
rarely visited. The trek passes to the south of Kanjirowa to Rara lake in the
far west of pristine Phoksundo in Lower Dolpo. The area offers huge diversity
of trekking, passing through terraced farmland, along high ridge tops, through
pristine forest along with astonishing Himalayan peaks.
The trek offers an undeniable chance
to enjoy freedom and escapism, and to achieve impressive achievement of
crossing Kagmara La pass(5115m) making this trek an ideal one.
