Nepal home to eight out of fourteen highest peaks in the world is naturally very rich country due to its unique geographical position and altitudinal variations. The altitude of the country ranges from 60m above the sea level to the highest peak in the world within the distance of 150km which results into the climatic conditions from sub-tropical to alpine. Nepal also carries the history from medieval era and has some architecturally rich cultural heritages as it grants a joyous diversity of sightseeing attractions and adventure opportunities.

This tour is specially designed for those travelers who have time limitation as it introduces to all the highlights of this Himalayan country. The trip starts from Kathmandu which is the capital city of the country where we will visit several Buddhists sites and Hindu Temples along with three Durbar squares. From here we will continue the trip to the lake city of Pokhara to experience its sensuous natural charisma. We will also visit Nagarkot where you will be taken away by the most impressive view of sun rising over the Himalayas.

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival

As your aircraft lands in Tribhuwan International Airport our representative will receive you and help you to transfer into the hotel of your choice. Kathmandu is known for its vast unwrapped display of arts and architecture in its temples, shrines and palaces which is second to none. Apart from the temples and hustle and bustle of the city Kathmandu too offers the awe-inspiring Himalayan vista in its north.

Day 2: Kathmandu valley sightseeing

We will start the trip by visiting Swoyambhunath which is located in the hilltop overlooking Kathmandu. Also known as the monkey temple it is famous for its whitewashed stupas and fine blend of Hindu and Buddhist religion. From here we will head towards Kathmandu Durbar Square which has number of interesting pagodas and Indian style temples. Kathmandu Durbar Square is also the historic seat of Nepalese royalty. Here we will visit Kastamandap Temple (a temple rumored to be constructed from the wood of single tree), Taleju temple, statue of Kal Vairab, Basantapur palace and Kumari Temple (residence of living goddess Kumari). From here we will visit Boudhanath Stupa which is located 8km east of Kathmandu. Boudhanath stupa is dome shaped monument representing the mind of Buddha and pilgrimage destination for Tantric Buddha. In the afternoon we will drive towards Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is the home of medieval art and architecture. The main square contains innumerable temple and other architectural showpieces like Lion Gate, statue to King Bhupatindra Malla, Golden Gate, and the palace with 55windows, Batsaka Temple and the bell of barking dogs.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara(200kms); 7hours

Early in the morning after having breakfast we will drive through the foot of green hills following the Trishuli River to Pokhara. Pokhara is situated 200km west of Kathmandu at the altitude of 827m from the sea level. Pokhara is recognized among the travelers for its fine blend of snow clad Himalayas and Snow fed lakes and rivers making this place the most picturesque place in the whole country.

Day 4: Drive to Sarankot and back to Pokhara

We will wake up very early in the morning and drive to Sarankot to see sunrise over the magnificently snowcapped Himalayas. Sarankot situated in the altitude of 1500m from the sea level gives you an option of paragliding over the lake city. Later we will drive back to hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast we will set off for city tour and visit places like David’s fall, Gupteshwor cave and Tibetan refugee camp. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 5: Drive back to Kathmandu and then to Nagarkot

Early in the morning we will catch a ride back to Kathmandu. As we reach Kathmandu we will again drive towards Nagarkot. Kathmandu Business Trip

On my recent visit to Nepal on business, I had two arrivals and departures as I also visited Bhutan on business during the middle of the week. My arrivals and departures were handled professionally and in a very timely manner. I do not speak the language and would not have been able to navigate my way around Kathmandu without the professional services of Mr. Kedar and his drivers. He showed the utmost respect for getting me to my meetings on time as well as corresponded with several of my customers to confirm I was in the correct place. In addition, he accompanied me to reception and assisted with a professional transition with my clients. I would highly recommend Mr. Kedar to anyone traveling on business for a worry free experience. He was there whenever I needed anything and assisted greatly with souvenir shopping for my family.
