Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival
As your aircraft lands in Tribhuwan International Airport
our representative will receive you and help you to transfer into the hotel of
your choice. Kathmandu is known for its vast unwrapped display of arts and
architecture in its temples, shrines and palaces which is second to none. Apart
from the temples and hustle and bustle of the city Kathmandu too offers the awe-inspiring
Himalayan vista in its north.
Day 2: Explore Kathmandu and in the evening drive to
Nagarkot(32km); 2hours
We will start the trip by visiting Swoyambhunath which is
located in the hilltop overlooking Kathmandu. Also known as the monkey temple
it is famous for its whitewashed stupas and fine blend of Hindu and Buddhist
religion. From here we will head towards the historical city of Kirtipur.
Kirtipur is one of the oldest towns in the Kathmandu valley. a Buddhist Bihar
has been made in Kirtipur, which consists of miniature sites representing
Lumbini( birthplace of Buddha), Bodhgaya( where Buddha got
enlightenment),Saranath( where Buddha gave his first teaching) and Kushinagar(
where Buddha died). After finishing sightseeing Kirtipur we will drive towards
the scenic spot of Nagarkot which is situated at the altitude of 2300m from the
sea level. From Nagarkot one can witness the magical peaks of Himalayas
including Langtang, Langtang Lirung, Choba bhamre, Ama Dablam, Dorje Lakpa,
Gauri Shankar and even Everest in a clear day. In Nagarkot we will take a slow
walk to see the beautiful site of setting sun.
Day 3: Drive to Chitwan
We will wake up Early in the morning for the spectacular
view of rising sun. As the first rays of the sun strikes into the peaks a
hellish red color slowly lightens the whole Himalaya range from Kanchanjunga
and Everest in the east to Annapurna and Dhawalagiri in the west. After this we
will drive back to Kathmandu and then to Chitwan. After checking into the hotel
we will meet with the tour guide and discuss about the programs. In the evening
we will have a short a Tharu village tour and we will end the day by witnessing
a awesome view of setting sun from Budi Rapti River
Day 4: Explore
Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park before used to be a royal hunting
reserve situated in the lowland of Terai zone in southern Nepal. It provides an
habitat to an extraordinary range of world’s rarest wild animals and native and
migratory birds. We will start the tour with bird watching, followed by jungle
safari on elephant back and canoe ride. In the evening we will enjoy the Tharu
cultural show.
Day 5: Drive to
Pokhara
After having breakfast we will drive through the beautiful
landscape, paddy farms, pristine rivers and small hamlets to the Lake City of
Pokhara. Pokhara is the scenically thrilling city with beautiful lakes and
offering the astonishing view of Annapurna massif. Upon arrival to Pokhara we
will check in to the hotel. After a short rest we will go for 1hour boating at
Fewa Lake which is located within the walking distance from the hotel.
Day 6: Drive to
Sarankot and back to Pokhara
We will wake up very early in the morning and drive to
Sarankot to see sunrise over the magnificently snowcapped Himalayas. Sarankot
situated in the altitude of 1500m from the sea level gives you an option of
paragliding over the lake city. Later we will drive back to hotel and have
breakfast. After breakfast we will set off for city tour and visit places like
David’s fall, Gupteshwor cave and Tibetan refugee camp. Stay overnight at hotel
in Pokhara.
Day 7: Fly to
Kathmandu
Early in the morning we will fly back to Kathmandu. Upon
arrival, drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square which is also the historic seat of
Nepalese royalty. Here we will visit Kastamandap Temple (a temple rumored to be
constructed from the wood of single tree), Taleju temple, statue of Kal Vairab,
Basantapur palace and Kumari Temple (residence of living goddess Kumari). The
evening is free you can enjoy either shopping or roam around the streets of
Thamel.
Day 8: Farewell
You will be transferred to Tribhuwan International airport
for your onward journey
