Apart for being known as home to some of the world’s highest
and most beautiful mountains in the world, Nepal too has plentiful places which
are magnanimously blessed with natural beauty and are not too hard to
accomplish.
Nepal has the fine blend to various tourist attractions
which every tourist love to experience. Kathmandu itself has the cluster of
7world heritage site situated within the radius of 20km and on the other hand
Nagarkot is generously beautiful hill-station offering the majestic mountain
vista and jaw dropping view of sun rising over the Himalayas.
This 5days and 4nights trip includes places like
Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, 3 major durbar squares of Kathmandu valley,
Swoyambhunath and Nagarkot. Nagarkot
located 32km east of Kathmandu is one of the most scenic spot in the country
which is known for its spectacular sunrise view. Apart from this Nagarkot too
offers an astonishing view of Indrawati River Valley. During spring Nagarkot turns
into a garden of different colored wild flowers.
Day 1: Kathmandu
Arrival
As your aircraft lands in Tribhuwan International Airport
our representative will receive you and help you to transfer into the hotel of
your choice. Kathmandu is the capital and the largest city of the country. In
the free afternoon you can explore the city on your own. Stay overnight in
hotel.
Day 2: Drive to
Nagarkot
Early in the morning after having breakfast we will drive to
the ancient city of Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur which is filled with monuments,
palaces and temples with elaborate carvings, gilded roofs and open courtyards is
known in the world for its modest, unique and antique art and architecture. Pagodas
and religious shrines are dotted in the whole city. The art gallery within the
area of city has an fascinating collection of ancient manuscripts, thankas,
centuries old stone sculpture and antique paintings. From Bhaktapur we will
drive to Nagarkot which is 32km east of Kathmandu and at the height of 2300m
from the sea level.
Day 3: Drive back to
Kathmandu
We will wake up Early in the morning for the spectacular
view of rising sun. As the first rays of the sun strikes into the peaks a
hellish red color slowly lightens the whole Himalaya range from Kanchanjunga
and Everest in the east to Annapurna and Dhawalagiri in the west. After this we
will drive back to Kathmandu. As we check into the hotel we will proceed to
visit Boudhanath stupa which is dome shaped monument representing the mind of
Buddha and pilgrimage destination for Tantric Buddha. In the afternoon we will
drive toward Kirtipur which is one of the oldest towns in the Kathmandu valley.
a Buddhist Bihar has been made in Kirtipur, which consists of miniature sites
representing Lumbini( birthplace of Buddha), Bodhgaya( where Buddha got
enlightenment),Saranath( where Buddha gave his first teaching) and Kushinagar(
where Buddha died). Drive back to Kathmandu for overnight stay.
Day 4: Full Day
Kathmandu Sightseeing
Today we will continue our journey. We will start by
visiting Kathmandu Durbar square and if you are lucky you will get the glimpse
of Living Goddess Kumari. From here we
will drive to Patan which is located in the south western part of the valley
and is for its finest tradition of arts and crafts. After a short rest we will
visit Swayambhunath temple which is also listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The temple dates back to 2500years and is situated in the hilltop offering the
astonishing view of Kathmandu. In the late afternoon you can enjoy family
shopping. The main highlight of the day is an evening Nepal culture dance with Nepalese
Dinner
Day 5: Farewell
You will be transferred to Tribhuwan International airport
for your onward journey.
