Bhote Koshi River undoubtedly has
become the most adventurous and exciting rafting experience in anyone’s life.
The River is a powerful, steep, Himalayan river, close to Tibet only a few
hours drives from Kathmandu that offers some intense and challenging activity white
water rafting in
Nepal.
Bhote Koshi River is a short but
action packed. The Bhote Koshi is a steep powerful, mountain river making it
one of the most exciting rafting rivers in Nepal. It is only a few hours’
drive north from Kathmandu near the border of Tibet hence its name “Bhote”
which roughly translates as “river from Tibet”. This narrow river cuts
through the surround hills with small waterfalls, steep chutes and numerous
rapids, it is like reading and erotic novel - it quickens the blood and excites
the mind! Given its technical nature this river is not for everyone, only those
up to the challenge of non-stop action.
Day 01: Kathmandu to rafting pouting points its Drive 3 Hours.
(Rafting about 3 Hours)
when we collected your departure
date Actual Adventure (p) Ltd. will receive you at 6 : 30 in the morning from
the hotel then we Drive to our Distention, we stop on the way for the Tea
Break, We continue to Rafting Pouting point, when we reached pouting
point preparing the raft & Equipment, When ready boats, we have safety
Briefing about Rafting after Briefing we are rafting down to the river. Lunch
around 12:30 after lunch we will continue to take out point we have to camp on the
river beach or resort.
Day 02: Return back to Kathmandu
We have morning tea, Coffee after
Tea, coffee we have to pack tents & loads to the bus then we have breakfast
after breakfast we drive to the above to Bahrabise,(Upper Part) then, we will
have a challenging day on the river. We will take off rafting at Dam Lamosanghu. Then
we have lunch and after lunch back to Kathmandu around 3 hours.
Finally safe journey back to
Kathmandu.
Rafting
Cost includes:
- Transport from Kathmandu to
Kathmandu by van or Private Mini bus, per itinerary.
- All International standard Rafting
equipment as necessary such as self bailing rafts, Gear raft Safety kayakers,
Helmets, life jackets, outfitter plastic paddles, dry top jackets,
waterproof barrel for camera and valuables things, Dry bag for multiday trip,
wet-suite if necessary etc.
- Well trained and highly experienced
English speaking Trip Leader, raft Guide and helper etc.
- Hygienically food 3 times’ a day
meals during the rafting and treks tours pried (lunch, dinner, breakfast)
- Camping & cooking equipment
tents, mattress & kitchen utensil and twin sharing tent during rafting
tour, all staffs daily wages, insurance and their meals etc.

Things
needed to bring for the trip:
Please bring with you T-shirt or
swim suite, undergarments/shorts, river suitable foot for wearing in the raft,
sport shoes on sandal, sun hat, sun block cream, water bottle, socks, shirt and
warm fleece jacket, T-shirt, trek boot, camera, batteries, note book, reading
book, pen, head lamp, personal first aid, eye lance, sleeping bag toiletries
etc…
